Today I wanted to try something new and how you can see, I´ve played around with some colors and also my post is written in english. You want to know why? I´m not that good in english and so I thought about trying to write some posts in english. I hope you like it, even if it´s not in german, but now to the Christmas Tag. I´ve never done a Tag in my life but as it´s Christmas time I thought why not do a Christmas Tag. So here it is.
Merry Christmas everyone!
1.Use one noise to describe how excited you are for Christmas.
*Ringing of Christmas bells*
2.Do you open any presents on Christmas Eve?
Yes, after eating a good amount of food our family will sit beside the Christmas tree and share their presents.
3.What holiday traditions are you looking forward to most this year?
I think, going to the Christmas Market is one of the things I like to do the most and I love everything about it, the music, the food or just walking through it. And I´m also that kind of person that´s always excited, sings to every Christmas song and jumps around like crazy.
4.Is your Christmas tree real or fake?
This year we haven´t got a real one but all the years before we had one. And I mean there is nothing better than the smelling of a real Christmas tree, right?
5.What is your favourite Christmas film?
Of course, I have to say Frozen! What is your favourite character in the movie? Mine is definitely Anna.
6.Where do you usually spend your holiday?
We usually stay at home but after Christmas, we will drive to Lake Constance and celebrate new years eve there.
7.What is your favourite Christmas song?
Wonderful Dream(Holidays are coming)-Radio Version by Melanie Thornton. Love this song and I can´t get into the Christmas spirit without it. Not gonna lie, I´m listening to it right now.
8.What is your all-time favourite holiday food/sweet treat?
There are so many, but if I have to pick it´s gonna be gingerbread. I also put gingerbread spice in literally everything right now, even in my coffee. By the way, I bought a Gingerbread Christmas Candle from Primark the other day and it smells incredible!
9.Be honest: do you like giving gifts or receiving gifts better?
Without any doubt giving presents and honestly, it´s so much fun to think about what would make someone happy and there is nothing better than making someone smile.
10.What is your favourite thing about Christmas?
How is it possible to pick one thing, I love everything about Christmas, the decorations, the music, the cosiness, more time for family and friends and the list goes on and on.
11.When do you start getting excited about Christmas?
It depends, but usually, it starts pretty early. This year, to be honest, I´ve binge-watched Zoella´s Vlogmas Playlists in September, but I mean why not?
12.What is the best Christmas gift you’ve ever received?
Hmmh...good question. I´m not sure if it was the best thing, but when I was 10 years old. My grandpa brought a large heavy looking box and said there were books inside. Stupid myself believed him and I was really excited about this amount of books, so I opened the book and when I saw what was really inside, my mouth opened widely. It was my first laptop ever and even if it isn´t working that well today, I kept it to remember this day.
Yes, I was the happiest person for a laptop, which isn´t that expensive as the ones the little kids get today. I think today younger people are getting some really expensive presents like a new iPhone or brand shoes for Christmas and it seems pretty normal. I´m not jealous at all, but I think it´s not clever to do that, because they´re not getting a feeling for the values.
13.What is the worst present you’ve ever received?
There is no worst, because it´s about thinking about a person and wanting to make them happy. But if there is one thing, I think there wasn´t that much thought behind was last year, when my uncle got me some tickets for a comedian, I didn´t know or like that much.
14.As a kid, did a sibling ever receive a present that you wished was for you?
As I´m an only child I´ve never experienced something like that.
15.What would be your dream place to visit for the holiday season?
I would love to go to London and visit the Harry Potter Studios, which is a little dream of a Potterhead like me.
16.Most memorable Holiday moment?
Oh I have to say my 16th birthday when we went to the Christmas Market in Stuttgart.
17.Do you make New Year's resolutions? Do you stick to them?
Yes I do, but I think we all agree, that we don´t stick to all of them aren´t we?
18.What makes the holidays special for you?
Spending some special time with my family and friends and doing all the fun things you can do in the winter time.
19.What’s the best part of Christmas for you?
Walking through all the wonderful Christmas decorated streets.
20.You have been granted one Christmas wish…what will it be?
Happiness for my family, friends and myself.
If you are going to to the Christmas Tag, I would be delighted
to see your answers in the comments below.
