My First Experience With YesStyle pt.2

Welcome to the second part of my first experience with YesStyle. If you have not seen the first part you can check it out here. After all the fashion pieces it is now time for my favorite part, skincare! And it is not just normal skincare, it is Korean skincare. As some of you know living in Germany means that it is quite hard to get Korean skincare products and on they are really expensive on most websites. After I found out about YesStyle and the good deals I had to pick a few different products to try. I especially liked the featured reviews which helped me a lot with finding the perfect products for my skin type. Let us keep this introduction short and start right away.

After hearing so many people rave about the brand COSRX and their products, I really wanted to try them and see if they are as good as everyone else says. Especially Joan Kim from her YouTube channel joanday convinced me to try this brand. She especially always talks about the Low pH Good Morning Cleanser and as you can see I was so biased that I had to buy it in the end. For some breakouts or to calm irritated areas in my face, I found the Centella Blemish Cream which looks really similar to my go-to blemish spot treatment recommended by my mum. The good thing about all the products from COSRX is the mild and natural formulation and with some botanical key ingredients like Centella Asiatica, it is the perfect way to treat sensitive skin.

The last product I picked up is the one I am most curious to see if it really does what it promises. It is called BHA Blackhead Power Liquid and it promises to provide the skin with moisture and at the same time to remove all the dirt which is kept deep down in our pores. As you can tell by the name of the products it should help with removing blackheads and since I fight with them myself I hope the product will be the final solution for the annoying blackheads.

It really surprised me myself that I bought a new face cream because usually, it is the kind of product I am most picky about. Because of my oily-prone skin, the cream cannot be too heavy or filled with a lot of oils. The perfect cream for me is lightweight, moisturizing and filled with natural ingredients that soothe and nourish my skin without feeling like having a heavy layer on my face. As a green tea lover, this product caught my eye instantly. The Chok Chok Green Tea Watery Cream from the brand Tony Moly is made of natural ingredients including water and green tea to soothe and calm the skin which is exactly what I am looking for in a face cream. After applying it for the first time I felt like my skin was drinking it all up in seconds leaving my face moisturized and really soft. I don´t want to scream it out yet, but it seems to be the best face cream I have ever tried.

The last little things I bought are two masks and cotton pads I really wanted to test out. The cotton pads are shaped like a square and really thin. Both of the sheet masks are really different from the ones we can get in Germany which is why I am extra interested in how they work on my face. The first one is a typical Korean mask to soothe and calm the skin which is what I prefer in skincare products if you could not tell by now. I totally adore the packaging. The other one is made of Centella Asiatica which is apparently my new favorite ingredient in skincare products. Besides that there is not much more to say about these sheet masks, so let us move on to the last bit.

Last of all this Watermelon mask from Skinfood was added to my order for free. I am glad it was something I could really use and the brand is really popular and has some great products. Also, sheet masks are always great and I cannot get enough of them. It can be a cute addition to presents and even men can use it. So with that being said, I hope you enjoyed today´s post and I wish you all the best.

Have you ever tried Korean skincare products or do you want to?

  1. Yesstyle has higher prices than other shops but today I found there products I wanted to try and it was really worth it - Japanese beauty can cost a lot, I only hope that I won't have any additional surprises like tax :)

    1. Depends on what and how much you buy, I think it is definitely worth it when you want to make a bigger purchase. And I hope that your order will come as soon as possible:)
