1. The Everygirls Guide to Wardrobe Clear Out’s
When this does not fit the current season, then what does? We are just around the back to school time and even though I am not in school anymore now, there is something special about clearing out your closet and getting a fresh view of the things you own. It is always a good thing to clean and organize, but somehow I feel like a whole new person with clarity and a better grasp of what I actually wear and like after sorting out my clothes. So I finally did it and surprisingly it went pretty fast. That is probably because I am doing it a few times a year. The post really motivated me to just do it and the tips are especially good for everyone who is struggling with where to start. I like the simplicity of the entire post and how Suzie included little compliments to keep you going.
2. Documentaries That Will Inspire You To Make A Change
Are you on the hunt for new knowledge and documentaries that will blow your mind? Then just head on right over to this post which includes a good variety of life-changing documentaries that reveal the truth about certain topics. But please do not forget to come back, because I still have some picks to share with you and believe me, you do not want to miss them. So back to the topic. I find myself watching more and more documentaries, which was not something I consciously did in the past. It seemed rather boring and way too long to watch, but I think we can all agree that this is not the case anymore. Even though I have watched the classics like Cowspiracy and The True Cost on Netflix, there are still a lot of other interesting ones on her list to check out.
3. CBD, Hormone und Miso- Das sind die Gesundheits-und Wellnesstrends 2019
As you probably know, one of my interests is food, nutrition, and of course health associated with it, which is why I have to share this one with you. It talks all about the current trends this year, including celery juice, miso, skin positivity, Ayurveda, hormone-friendly diet, period, sleep-cycle, natural cosmetic, and sustainability. What impressed me the most was how oat milk slowly conquers the world. Most of you probably know the Swedish brand Oatly which started the whole thing and I can guarantee you, that it changes the whole game! I have not been drinking cow milk for almost two years now and it was one of the best decisions I have ever made. There is a tone of plant milk on the market like soy, almond, rice, coconut, and even hazelnut or macadamia which tastes like a milkshake in my opinion. Out of all types of milk, I usually go for the oat kind, because it is not only my favorite taste, but it is also really affordable comparing it to other ones. I would not say that the milk from Oatly is my favorite, but it is pretty good and overall coffee tastes so much better with oat milk. How can a person talk so much about oat milk? If you are really bored, you can count how many times I said oat milk in this paragraph, but the answer to the question I asked before is: I can talk about it all day because it is pure pleasure.
4. Your Questions About Food And Climate Change, Answered
Seems like there are a lot of posts and articles included in this part, but I just could not resist sharing them all with you. This is an article from the New York Times and it is all about the current issues on the planet, mostly focusing on food and how our eating habits affect climate change. I could honestly not tell you enough how important it is what we consume on a daily basis. Just think about the things you eat and buy. What of these things do you actually need? After reading that article, I realized again that even the tiniest things matter to make a change. Even though I eat mostly vegan and sometimes vegetarian, it does not mean that the whole world has to go 100 percent vegan overnight. That is just not possible. But as a matter of fact, meat and dairy have the largest impact on the world´s greenhouse gas emissions and that information has been around for a long time now. Still, the majority of people are consuming large amounts of meat and dairy products on a daily basis. Nobody is perfect(including me), but we have to do something. Like I said, even the tiniest things can make a change. For example, if you eat meat every day, try switching it up by cooking more vegetarian options. And believe me, you are not only doing something for the planet, but you are also going to appreciate it even more. As with everything, it is all about balance.

5. Artsy Aesthetic Onlineshop- Clothing Online. Co
Now let us switch things up a bit and continue with the exact opposite. Some time ago, I was active on Instagram and scrolled a bit through my feed. In doing so, I came across this beautiful Onlineshop and it was love at first sight. It is called Clothing Online.Co and on the website you can find a good variety of artsy, vintage, aesthetic and minimal clothing. To give you a first impression, I decided to show you some of the things that I found to be very beautiful. You can browse by specific categories, for example, my favorite style is Artsy Aesthetics, obviously. Some of the things I like the most are the nude-toned shirts with Linart prints on them. From clothing, accessories, jewelry, fancy socks, phone cases to home decor, you can find a good variety of unique things that you cannot find everywhere. Plus, there are even phone cases, rings, and necklaces with prints from Van Gogh, for all the fans out there. If you are a fan of art, design and unique clothes, then you have to check it out! By the way, if some of you would be interested in seeing more of these little Onlineshops from Instagram, which are not as well-known as bigger brands, please let me know, so I can share more of these with you.6. Best Healthy Banana Bread(vegan, gluten free, oil free)
I have been following Remy´s YouTube channel for a long time, but since I have discovered her blog, I am even more in love! She is really one of those YouTubers that I find myself coming back to when I am in the need of a simple and delicious vegan recipe. Her pictures are so colorful and bright, that it always makes me really happy to look at her posts. The best thing about her recipes is, that she uses a small ingredients list, which makes it way easier because you already have most of them at home. The recipe that I picked is a classic for me. We are making Banana Bread all the time and even though I tried a lot of recipes, I just have not found the perfect one so far. This one seems to be the perfect balance of a healthy and sweet pleasure that includes only a few things. Even when you do not have the exact flour type at home, you can always substitute it with a different kind. I will definitely try it out soon, so I will probably keep you posted on Instagram, where you should, by the way, follow me if you are interested in updates and little peeks of my daily life.
7. Healing Vlogs and Peaceful Cuisine
Last but not least, there is something quite different than I have not actually heard of or experienced before. Most people heard of Mukbangs, but the videos I am talking about are the so-called Healing Vlogs, which are meant to be some sort of relaxation when you watch them. Up to now, I have only watched the videos from Q2HAN and some cooking videos from Peaceful Cuisine. They are both pretty similar, but also completely different. The thing is, I do not know why I enjoy them that much, but every time I watch another one of the videos, I feel at peace. The music and editing really calm me down after a stressful day and even though you only see others cook and eat, it is inspiring. Comparing them to Mukbangs they give such a different vibe and for everyone that has never heard of it or tried it before, I can totally recommend it! Just try it out and tell me what you think of it.True healing occurs when I give myself permission
to feel whatever feelings live below the triggers.
Have you ever watched some sort of healing vlogs?
Kirsten
